Laksa
Laksa is a noodle type of food that is put seasoning with Peranakan culture, which combined with elements of Chinese and Malay. Laksa has several types, the best known is the type of Penang Laksa, a noodle was a little round white and thick. In Indonesia there are also several types of laksa like Laksa and Laksa Betawi Bogor. Laksa name is taken from the Sanskrit which has many meanings, suggesting that the Laksa noodles made with various spices.
Types of Laksa
There are three types of laksa in general, namely Curry Laksa, Assam Laksa and Laksa other types. Of each type there are more sub-types.
Curry laksa
Laksa fat, also known as Laksa mistress
Laksam, originated from Terengganu
Katong laksa in Katong area of Singapore
Laksa acid
Penang Laksa, also known as the Assam laksa
Laksa Johor, derived from the state of Johor
Ipoh Laksa, from Ipoh, Malaysia, Penang Laksa is similar but more acidic
Laksa Kuala Kangsar
Perlis laksa
laksa Kedah
laksa Kelantan
Other laksa
Sarawak Laksa, comes from Sarawak on Borneo island.
Laksa Bogor, Bogor and comes from using oncom
Laksa Betawi, almost similar to Laksa Laksa Betawi Bogor but use shrimp sauce rebon.
Laksa Palembang, who made the same as Burgo, in lakso resembles a noodle. As with gravy Burgo, lakso also eaten with coconut milk, which distinguishes only wear saffron broth and mixed with other spices.
